The TRAP-02 yellow trap consists of a container made from durable yellow polypropylene and a metal hanger that allows stable mounting onto a rod or pole with a diameter of 20–24 mm. The bright yellow colour effectively attracts oilseed rape pests, enabling precise monitoring of their population and helping determine whether spraying is necessary.
Effective pest monitoring – the printed economic threshold table allows quick assessment of infestation levels.
Improved crop protection – regular observations help reduce the risk of yield loss.
Cost savings – accurately determining the need for spraying reduces the use of plant protection products and lowers production costs.
The standard economic threshold table can be replaced with any chart required by manufacturers of plant protection products.
The container can also be customized with a company logo or promotional text, turning it into a practical advertising tool.
The TRAP-02 yellow trap is an essential tool for farmers cultivating oilseed rape. It enables accurate assessment of pest populations, resulting in more effective crop protection and improved production efficiency. With additional customization options, the trap can also serve as a promotional item, supporting brand visibility within the agricultural sector.
The trap should be placed in the field immediately after rapeseed sowing in autumn and again in spring after the last snow has melted. Position it approximately 20 meters from the field edge, always at the height of the plant tops. It is recommended to use at least four traps per field.
Fill the container halfway with water and add a small amount of dishwashing liquid. The detergent reduces the surface tension of the water, allowing pests to sink more easily.

Daily monitoring is required: count the insects caught in the water, check the economic threshold printed on the container, and replace the water each time.

Mount the yellow trap on a stake and raise it as the rapeseed plants grow.
Once the economic threshold is exceeded, a decision regarding possible spraying should be made.
The yellow trap helps detect harmful pests such as cabbage stem flea beetle, pollen beetle, and cabbage gall midge.
