The TRAP-01 yellow trap is a container made from durable polypropylene in a bright yellow colour that effectively attracts oilseed rape pests. It is a reliable crop-monitoring tool that helps farmers make informed decisions regarding the need for potential spraying.
Effective monitoring – enables quick assessment of pest pressure and infestation levels.
Cost-efficient crop protection – accurate observations help optimize the number of chemical treatments and reduce production costs.
Improved rapeseed protection – supports better crop management by aligning plant protection measures with real needs.
Economic threshold table – printed standard on the trap; it can be replaced with any table required by plant protection product manufacturers.
Personalization – option to print a logo or promotional message, turning the trap into a practical advertising tool.
Durable material – weather-resistant polypropylene ensures longevity during field use.
The TRAP-01 yellow trap is an essential tool in oilseed rape cultivation. It enables precise pest monitoring, improves crop efficiency, reduces costs, and supports more environmentally responsible farming. With the option of customization, it can also serve as a promotional item that enhances brand visibility.
The trap should be placed in the field immediately after rapeseed sowing in autumn and again in spring after the last snow has melted. Position it approximately 20 meters from the field edge, always at the height of the plant tops. It is recommended to use at least four traps per field.
Fill the container halfway with water and add a small amount of dishwashing liquid. The detergent reduces the surface tension of the water, allowing pests to sink more easily.

Daily monitoring is required: count the insects caught in the water, check the economic threshold printed on the container, and replace the water each time.

Mount the yellow trap on a stake and raise it as the rapeseed plants grow.
Once the economic threshold is exceeded, a decision regarding possible spraying should be made.
The yellow trap helps detect harmful pests such as cabbage stem flea beetle, pollen beetle, and cabbage gall midge.
